Promptly at 8am on the 1st May 2019, dedicated members gathered together to administer the collection drive, response to the appeal:
Midlands Hindu Society will be collecting non-perishable food items – particularly canned foods and personal hygiene products (Toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, sanitary pads, toilet rolls, etc.) in an aim to bring much needed relief to the victims of the last week’s devastating floods in Durban. Come along with whatever contribution you can spare – it does not have to be big …it just requires your compassion and love. Every little bit helps.
