The Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz, to be conducted worldwide in four rounds, is open to Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) and South African nationals in the age group of 15-35 years. Details of the Quiz are available at www.bharatkojaniye.in
Topics of the Quiz will include – Indian Art, Indian Democracy, Economy, Geography, Personalities in Music and Dance, Science & Technology, Languages & Literature, Education, Tradition of Indian Crafts, Indian Cinema, and Renowned Personalities.
· The first round of the quiz will be conducted online from 16-31 October 2018.
· Top three participants of the first round from each category NRIs, PIOs and SA nationals would be eligible to participate in the second round of the Quiz.
· The top ten participants from each category in the second round worldwide will be invited to participate in the third round (Semi-final) and the fourth round (Final) to be held in New Delhi, India.
· The top 3 winners will be awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention in January 2019 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India.
· All participants, who are invited to India for the onsite rounds would have the opportunity to attend a workshop in New Delhi and participate in the Bharat Ko Janiye Yatra – a 15 day tour of India including Lakshadweep.
· Government of India will provide the return airfare by economy class and local hospitality to all the participants of third and fourth rounds of the quiz.
